First of all, much love to the wonderful =CricketWings for making this wonderful journal for me! As part of my thank-you gift, I've featured some of her beautiful art below, so be sure to check it out. And thank you to everyone else that had offered to make me one, I really appreciate it!

So, as most of you know, I'll be visiting the Big Apple later on this year for the first time, and the point of this journal is to find out what the best restaurants/places to eat are (in your opinion!) My sister and I like most types of food, but I particularly love Italian and she really likes Chinese, so if anyone can recommend any good places that cater to those menus, then let us know! (And if you know of any good pizzarias, I'm all ears ) Oh yeah, we're staying in Times Square, so preferably something around that area. Also, what kind of tip do you leave? We Brits are such n00bs when it comes to tipping. (Don't deny it - you know it's true!) We're not going until August, but I thought it'd be a good to gather some information so we can make reservations. Oh, and is Tavern on the Green really as good as people say it is? Thanks guys!

To be honest, I'm just so sick of all the art theft, and I can't seem to muster the will to do anything about it, especially the foreign ones... It is my pleasure to showcase Cricket's art this week, because her work is truly stunning! She has a lovely collection of fantasy characters, including the gorgeous Delirium - a character that is well known around these parts!
